Exposure Visits

SPOSH conducts and participates in national as well as international exposure visits keeping in mind that “seeing is believing”. We provide an in-depth learning platform for community leaders and government representatives with the aim of learning through the experiences of other communities and countries as well as their stories in their own fights, be it success or failure. SPOSH hopes to create a greater understanding between each country’s representatives/ communities on the common ground of fighting for land and housing rights. Through these exposure visits, we truly embrace and promote the idea of “thinking globally, acting locally.”

For international recognition and experience, SPOSH has participated in the following events:

• World Urban Forum 2009, held in Brazil
• India: Field visit to community best survey program February 11 to 13 2010.  
• Sri-Lanka: SDI (slum dollars international) program meeting with countries experience searing on ) august 8 to10 2010. 
• Cambodia:  Field Trip Schedule of Urban Poor Coalition of Asia (UPCA) program to Philippines on 13-15 January 2012. 
• Philippines: UPCA (Urban Poor Coalition of Asia) -One voice, One Action, By and For the people Lunch program and Funding program on March 12   to 16 -2012.
• Bangkok: Regional Meeting for UPCA (Urban Poor Coalition of Asia) on April 16-18 2012
• Bangkok: Meeting information For the UPCA\ACHR\ACCA (Urban Poor Coalition of Asia, Asian Coalition for Housing Rights, Asian Coalition for Community Action) Regional Meeting for on February 23-28, 2013.
