Anti-Eviction Campaign
Anti-eviction campaign, one of the main pillars of SPOSH, is focused against the forceful eviction of squatters, landless and informal settlements. SPOSH has been accused by the government of creating problems, but we believe the voices of the people we represent should never be deemed as so. We truly believe we hold the key solutions to these problems.
Whenever problems of forceful eviction of landless and informal settlements arises, SPOSH comes to the Sadak(Road) and Sadan(Parliament) to combact the issues.
Sadak
Peaceful demonstration are initiated on the streets to highlight and bring awareness for the current situation of forceful eviction and discrimination. These demonstrations are conducted in peace and without any obstruction to traffic.
Sadan
Providing alternative solutions through drafting bills, recommending policies, and better laws to properly represent and help squatters, landless, and informal settlements. Although we have been pressurizing the government bodies to stop forceful eviction, it is still a struggle to present and pass these policies in the parliament.
